According to Wikipedia the typical first year cost for a Risk Management Information System can range from $60,000 to $150,000 with subsequent years costing slightly less. Read more at Wikipedia.

SABER addresses many of the same goals as these systems but due to our service bureau approach, both costs & precious time required of your staff are significantly less.

SABER includes two categories of services. First, an outsourced casualty solutions service. And, second, SABER Online, a web hosted database solution. The following provides a summary of how each is priced.

Outsourced Casualty Solutions

Implementation

For SABER's Outsourced Casualty Solutions, the minimum implementation fee is $2,500. To date, no client implementation has exceeded $10,000. This is a one time fee paid at the onset of the engagement - not a recurring or annual fee.

Factors that affect implementation costs include:

• Number of data sources - and availability/quality of the data
• If necessary, mapping to correct client location code consistency
• Number and complexity of custom reports - typically not a major cost since SABER has 50+ report templates as a starting place to developing completely customized reports for each client
• Establishment of a client specific service profile including distribution criteria

Report Preparation and Distribution

The fee structure is typically $1,000 for first data source and $500 for each additional data source – per processing cycle (monthly, quarterly, etc.)

• Minimum annual report preparation and distribution fee is $12,000 ($1,000 per month)
• Standard delivery within no more than 7 business days following receipt of all data required to prepare your reports each month
• Discounts are applied to address multiple data source clients - SABER's largest and most complex client with multiple data sources is less than $60,000 annually
• Most client fees range from $18,000 to $35,000

SABER Online - Tailored Databases

Pricing for this service is determined primarily by the design time and expected ongoing service requirements. The number of system users will not impact costs unless more than several hundred users are anticipated. And, in such cases incremental costs are limited. Each SABER Online solution is tailored to the client's needs and therefore fees vary but are typically less than $35,000 annually.

In most cases, prospective clients are provided an estimated annual "not to exceed" cost as part of the SABER Online Test Drive.
